Coccicidal Concentrated Disinfectant is a quaternary ammonium chloride cleaner that is very effective on hard surfaces and widely used by hospitals, food service and the health industry.  It is a multi purpose germicidal, bacteriocidal, fungicidal and virucidal detergent also known as a cationic disinfectant or surfacant. It also kills pseudomonas which can cause URI's and can be used to practically sterilize hard surfaces and instruments. Two ounces of concentrate will make a gallon of solution and makes a great spot cleaner for daily use.  Mix with distilled or purified water for best results, hard water may affect effectiveness.

Ammonium based disinfectants are the only cleaners effective against cryptosporidiosis, a mutant form of coccidia with no known cure!

Many household products contain ammonium chloride based cleaners, but concentrations are usually very low between 0.02% and 0.08%.   The active ingredients in this concentrate are Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride 0.94% and Alkyl*dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride*(50%C14, 40%C12, 10%C16 0.62%.  EPA Reg No is 47371-36 and is listed on the epa website here

This disinfectant has a light, fresh scent and is blue in color, slightly sudsy.
*Professional strength disinfectant is twice as concentrated and pink in color.*
