Coccicidal Concentrated Disinfectant is a quaternary ammonium chloride cleaner that is very effective on hard surfaces and widely used by hospitals, food service and the health industry. It is a multi purpose germicidal, bacteriocidal, fungicidal and virucidal detergent also known as a cationic disinfectant or surfacant. It also kills pseudomonas which can cause URI's and can be used to practically sterilize hard surfaces and instruments. Two ounces of concentrate will make a gallon of solution and makes a great spot cleaner for daily use. Mix with distilled or purified water for best results, hard water may affect effectiveness.
Ammonium based disinfectants are the only cleaners effective against cryptosporidiosis, a mutant form of coccidia with no known cure!
This disinfectant has a light, fresh scent and is blue in color, slightly sudsy.
*Professional strength disinfectant is twice as concentrated and pink in color.*
For premise use, remove all feed and water bowls used by animals. Remove organic waste and fecal matter prior to use. Saturate surfaces with disinfecting solution for a period of at least 2 minutes then allow to dry completely, no need to rinse Never spray in the presence of animals.
Can be used to clean all cage furniture by spraying or saturating, only needs to sit 2 minutes to be effective. Allow to dry, no need to rinse unless used on feeding bowls.
Also great for cleaning cricket bins!
Warnings:
For external premise use only. Always use in a well ventilated area and do not allow animals in the area until it is fully dry. Has very low toxicity to terrestrials. Do not mix with chlorine or bleach of any kind.
Very Effective against Coccidia! Remember, bleach and chlorhexidine solutions do not kill coccidia!
